A "friend" took my potted Lilium inside to protect it whilst I was away to protect it from the cold. Needless to say due to warmth and direct sunshine through window it sprouted weak shoots 3 months earlier than normal. The stalks, leaves and flower heads look spindly and are clearly not going to produce any flowers. This plant year-in-year out for 10 years has given me fantastic blooms. Is there any way I can save t this year? I thought about cutting the stalks down and hoping it might get a second sprout of growth. Or should I just accept that this year it is not going to produce its fantastic flowers. I would really appreciate advice and expertise. Lis
I recommend just letting it go ahead and flower now. Once lilies produce a stalk with buds, that is it. When the blooms fade, it won't produce a second flush of flowers.

This will include salt & ground up shells. Will the salt affect the lilies badly?
Potted lilies actually like some sand in the soil, but beach sand may be too salty. If you have the means of washing the salt out of the sand, it might work. But I suspect unwashed beach sand would be too salty for your plant and would likely be harmful to the plant. River or lake sand would be better. Here's an article about containerized lilies:

My lilies have come up too close to each other. Can I separate them and replant them further apart without causing damage to them?
You can transplant them at this stage, but you may find that they are not as prolific this summer. If you wait until they've bloomed and died back before separating them, like until late summer or fall, you'll have better luck with them next year.

Pastor talked me into taking it home. ?
This can depend on the type of lily. If this is a standard Daylily, then the process is quite simple. They are not picky by any means. If this is an Oriental or Asiatic lily, then you may need to take a little more care to choose a good spot and care for the plant.

Please help me save my bush lily. My sister in law gave it to me 2 yrs ago. She passed away last year and I have got to save my plant. ? I don’t know why all the sudden I started watering it so much? I removed it from pot, removed all the rotted root, allowed to dry about an hour then repotted in new soil, but did not water it. I don’t know when or if I need to water it. I have to save Lisa’s plant. Do I water after repotting? All roots gone except the bulb. Can it be saved?
I would wait to water it since you thought it was overwatered. Wait till the foliage wilts a little, then continue to water. Here are care instructions:

HI- My lilies don't seem to be as healthy this year as in years past. The clump on the right is usually how they look for late May in NH and historically, I've had three clumps. Can you tell me if the plants in the middle are off-shoots of the lily bulbs? The leaves are different. Should I pull these out or can they be transplanted? Thanks for any help you can provide in getting these plants healthy again.
It looks like both the lilies in the center and the daylilies on the outside are reproducing. The daylilies on the left may be thinning. I would dig those up and divide just to invigorate them. These articles should help:
