Q.Can I Transplant Lilies After They Have Come Up This Spring?

Zone 70816 | Anonymous added on April 21, 2021 | Answered

My lilies have come up too close to each other. Can I separate them and replant them further apart without causing damage to them?

You can transplant them at this stage, but you may find that they are not as prolific this summer. If you wait until they've bloomed and died back before separating them, like until late summer or fall, you'll have better luck with them next year.
