One of my lilies has 15 heads, what is the most ever recorded.
It looks like the current record holder has 70 Stargazer lilies on one plant.
I planted Asian lily bulbs in my raised flower bed and made sure to plant then 8 inches apart. They did not come up 8 inches apart but semi grouped together. I'm not sure what happened there. I noticed they started getting black spots that kind of looked like aphids so I began spraying them with Neem oil. It's gotten to a point where I'm not sure what to do. The aphids have attracted ants, some of the leaves have brown spots, little black bugs are everywhere (I think aphids), and it's affecting the flower buds. I'm so sad about this. Can any one help me?
You will need to control the aphids to get rid of the ants. You may need a fungicide, as well, since aphids will transmit diseases from plant to plant.

yes I have no room to store my bulbs so I would like to leave my lilly bulbs in the ground and cover them with a frost blanket would that be ok
It depends on the type of lily that you have. It may not get gold enough for long enough to satisfy the chill hour requirement that many lilies have. Your zone is equivalent to our USDA zone 9, so you will need to make sure that your lily does not have a chill requirement, as it will not likely get cold enough in your area.
This collection of articles will give you information on many kinds of lilies:
I 'inherited' some lilies from my mom. For some reason, this year only one came up and I'd like to know what kind it is. It grows about 5-6 feet tall, and has seeds that grow on the stem. I have never seen this type in any catalogs. I's really appreciate your help. Thank you.
Here are the types of lilies. It may be a species lily.

Bought some lillies (bulbs) at a local "friends of library"sale. Put them in 1 gal pots but never got around to putting them in the ground. Now frost is approaching (I'm in 5b). Any ideas on how to proceed for the winter? Note, leaves have been up all summer and are still up and healthy now. Thanks for any help you can give. P.S. Have a cool room, never below 45 degrees, where I overwinter geraniums and this has worked well for me. P.P.S. Love your site!
You could either plant the pots in the ground or move them to a cool location such as garage, unheated basement, or shed. Your cool room might be a little warm. They do need cold treatment.
Lilies are generally hardy to about zone 3, but in a container they have little protection.
I bought yellow calla lilies and when I planted then they turned green like the leaves. Why?
That is disappointing when the color changes. In the case of calla lilies, it can be due to low light levels or lack of nitrogen, for example.

This plant is 150 years old, and was given to me from my grandmother. I am so afraid I am going to kill it.
I'm not sure if you are referring to the pink surprise lilies that bloom in July, August, or another plant called magic flower that blooms all summer from rhizomes. The surprise lily will thrive without any care from us. However the bloom stalks can be removed after flowering.
Here is information on both:
