My neighbour's tree hangs over in my back garden. I have been having alot of fly and wasp activity for the last 2 months. Also, for the last week have been getting these insects. They're mainly on the garden fence, the back wall of my house and any concrete, ie flags, posts. Can you advise me how to get rid of them and what they are, please? thank you.
There are a number of wasp spray that will kill yellowjackets. These are highly aggressive and will work together to stop an intruder. If you do not feel comfortable dealing with them yourself then it will be best to call an exterminator.

These insects have recently started to appear in my back garden. Can you tell me what they are and how to get rid of them, please?
I have never seen one of those here in the US! You could try contacting your local agricultural extensions on an ID for this insect. I can, however, offer some articles to help you get rid of a broad range of insect pests:

blue green spot on their backs. Can you advise please? I'm losing my roses!
Unfortunately you have been visited by one of the nastiest foes encountered by any rose loving gardener. They are called Japanese Beetles. It really takes a two pronged approach to do battle with them. Using a systemic insecticide granule that can be scratched into the soils, such as those made by Bayer, will help get rid of the grubs they leave in the soils. A systemic insecticide sprayed upon the roses when the beetles first appear, or slightly before they appear if the timing is known, will also help. I am providing a link to an article I wrote about them for you as well. Nasty bugs they are! Article link: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/roses/japanese-beetles-roses.htm
Grasshoppers are all over my flowers, they are eating all over the Canna leaves. I thought about getting a couple of chickens, would that help? Or what do you recommend I spray them with? I tried liquid 7 spray, that didn't help and left my plants leaves white from the spray.
Control this time of year when the grasshoppers are mature is difficult. An infestation in fall indicates a likely problem next spring since the grasshoppers lay eggs in the soil in autumn. When they are young, control measures are more effective. What follows contains organic and pesticide control measures. If you can, identify which type of grasshopper has invaded. There are several bug ID sites on the web.

I heard you could use sand as "top soil" but when I watered my plants the sand and soil just completely mixed how can i prevent the mixing or what is a better way to fight these gnats.. thanks a lot ?
They are a very beneficial, natural ally in the soil. They don't really like to come out of the soil where they are exposed, but will do so to avoid suffocation from being saturated. In short, they come out when the plant is overwatered, since they would suffocate in the soil.
They do what they are named for, however. They eat rotting material, or fungus. They will not harm living plant matter, but the fact that there are so many would signal an overabundance of fungus in the soil. Usually, fungal infections are caused by overwatering and saturated soil.
First, make sure that you let the soil dry out very thoroughly down to about 2 inches. Do this between every watering. Treat with a fungicide. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/info/using-fungicides-in-garden.htm
Once the soil contamination is controlled, they will move on to another source of rotting soil, since they will no longer have any food source. Removing them before the soil is treated will lead to further infection, since there is nothing controlling it.
5 days ago at dusk we could see a swarm of what we thought were gnats in the yard. In the morning my 50+ deck plants were covered in Whiteflies and there continue to be hundreds in the air across the deck. Live in Iowa and many of the plants will be brought in for the winter... minus the Whiteflies! Is there a fogger or so something I can use for a 200 sq ft outdoor area? Thanks!
This can, actually, be quite difficult. The recommended method for control is releasing predatory insects, though. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/whitefly-control.htm
What different plants can I pot for my front porch to help eliminate mosquitoes? It has a slight cove around the door and mosquitoes love to hover there. I live in the Hot Houston, TX area.
The plants themselves can't kill moquitoes. You actually need to rub the oily leaves on your skin for protection. However, some say it does help to grow certain plants. Here is more:
