These are lacing the leaves, what do I do?
These are one of many cutworms! They destroy plants, as you have found out. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/get-rid-cutworms.htm
I am growing the "Citronella plant" right now. It works very well. Mosquitoes and other insects are attracted by CO2, and cuts /wounds. Those two things are impossible to stop. Especially breathing. Several combined plants and other diversions and yard work all work together. It has been a very wet Year where I live. Even one plant helps.
That's wonderful if it works for you. We consult the university cooperative extension websites for information that is research based. According to their sites, the citronella plants would have to be crushed (to release oils) and rubbed on your skin to get any benefit. Their studies show just having the plants in the landscape do not help. This article below states that lemon thyme actually works better than the "mosquito" plants so maybe we should make sure that is in our yards!

Can anyone tell me what this little beast is??
It appears to be a Grapevine Beetle or similar! There are many insecticides, or you can consider crafting your own. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/special/organic/natural-home-pesticides-organic-garden-pest-control.htm
I hate them!!!
I hate them too!
Yes, Neem Oil can treat them but they can be difficult to control.

Sorry, but we don't recommend specific products. You may want to do a Google search, or try Amazon.com for chemical-free, earth friendly soaps.
Your local hardware store probably stocks a product specifically developed to kill mosquito larvae in water. As a biological control agent specific to mosquitos, it does not affect birds, pets, etc.
Should we get rid of them? Are they helpful? How do you change the soil in a plant pot that has Armadillidiidae?
These can be a bit of a nuisance in your garden, but you can prevent this. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/sow-bug-control.htm
