My Pussy Willow bush-tree fell over during a storm last week. It didn't break, it just fell over from the ground being soft and wet. Since the bush was in a flower bed along the house, we decided to move it to a place where it could grow better. We were very careful digging it up, but when we replanted it, all the leaves wilted and are now falling off. Is there a chance that it will survive being moved?
Your plant may be stressed. Provide daily water for at least two weeks, then you can cut back. You also could cut back the branches so the shrub has less work to do. Pussy Willows are very hardy and your shrub should make a full recovery.
Ironically I had the same thing happen with one of my Pussy Willow plants this week with a very heavy rain. I did leave mine in it's current location, but a few branches were bent. I opted to trim all the branches back to about half the length.

What is the pink fungus on my pussy willow? I was outside and took a look at my pussy willow tree and saw a pink fungus on the leaves.
It's hard to make a clear diagnosis from your description.
Pussy Willow does not usually have issues with disease or insects.
Powdery Mildew is a possibility and I would recommend treating it with Neem Oil. Neem Oil works as both a fungicide and pesticide.

I have a Pussy Willow (4 ft tall) that has one straight trunk with the top cascading towards the ground with no upright branches. It is leaning, as the branches are falling to the front. This is pulling the trunk over with the weight. We have had no catkins on this. We have just moved to this property so we are not aware of the history. Have you any advice on how to maintain this?
It may need to be pruned in order to take the weight off the trunk, as it sounds like it may be too much for the tree to handle at this point. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/pussy-willow/how-prune-pussy-willows.htm
I have a very tall pussy willow which I've never pruned. I've had it for about 5 years and notice that it produces fewer pussy willows each year. Would it be ok to trim it back now? Also, it has raised white bumps on the leaves this year. Any idea what that might be? (I live in N. Eastern Illinois and fertilize it 3 or 4 times during spring and summer).

My dwarf weeping pussy willow stopped "weeping. " All branches for the last two years have grown straight UP, and never bend. I've had to cut them off at 7 feet because of homeowner association rules (plantings can't extend over fence tops). The tree is about six years old. Is it hopeless? Time to dig it out and start over? Thanks.
A previous pruning may have removed the weeping branches of the plant. The weeping comes from grafts and once the grafted weeping branches are damaged or pruned back to severely, the natural upright branches return. The long and short of it is that your weeping pussy willow will not weep again. If this is the desired shape you want to the plant, you will need to replace it.
It is near the end of July, can I still prune the pussy willow? This spring I discovered we had a pussy willow. There were only a few buds on a few of the branches. There are about a dozen stems, all about 6-7 feet tall. Will pruning help produce better stems?
Yes, pruning will rejuvenate your bush.

My husband gave me a weeping pussy willow in March. It was doing very well until mid-June. Since then it has been losing leaves and most new growth is not healthy looking. I have sprayed it for pests, fertilized it and have been fretting over it for a month. Every stem/branch has juvenile catkins but the new growth at the tips are curled and unhealthy. The roots appear to be in good health. My expertise lies in tropical plants so this pussy willow has me baffled. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
It may need more water. I would increase water to the plant for the rest of the summer to help establish them. As just a precaution, I would also treat the plant with a fungicide, as fungus could also be causing the issues.
