I have an established strawberry patch with a lot of grass growing in it. How do I get rid of grass without killing plants, short of pulling by hand. The grass is concentrated around plants.
I'm sorry to report, but hand pulling is the only safe method to weed your Strawberry patch.
You can mulch the patch to help reduce weed infiltration.

What can I use to kill weeds in my strawberry bed and raspberry patch? Also, what can I use in my asparagus bed?
This article has a good explanation of weed control in strawberry beds. It seems that mulching or spot treatment with glyphosate are the best options for established strawberry beds:

Here are some ideas for raspberry weed control:

how do you keep weeds out of strawberry plants?
Mulching the beds can greatly reduce weeds and help with moisture retention.

Can I sting the strawberry runners coming off my plants up against A fence and them still produce strawberries or do they need to be planted
You can likely do this and get some Strawberries. Strawberries can be grown in hanging baskets and containers and the runners bear fruit in that manner.
It certainly sounds like a fun garden project to try!

We are getting a tremendous amount of rain so I covered my strawberry plants for 3 days. Now they are brown. What can I do?
If the soil is not draining, the roots can die from root rot; quite quickly.
They also may have be suffering from fungus from being covered, and lack of air circulation.
Remove the dead plant material and they may recover, but you will need to wait and watch this one out.

We came home from trip and found all our strawberry leaves were gone. Will they come back and grow new leaves? We re putting up a fence.
They may grow back from the roots, you can wait and see and then fill in bare spaces with more plants.
Hello, I'd like to use some wild strawberry seeds to make wedding favours for my brother's wedding. My idea is to give a few seeds to each person in a small envelope. I know the seeds are really small and might get lost, even in the smallest envelope! So I was wondering if you might have some advice about potentially sticking the seeds to biodegradable paper so that the wedding guests can simply place the paper on some moist soil to germinate. Is there a glue that could be used for such a job? My other question - obviously it would depend on the quality of seeds, but do you know the germination rate of the seeds? Eg, if I gave each guest 5 seeds, would at least one germinate? Thank you! :)
I'd use just elmer's glue as it is water soluable and will break down
This article may help with your seed question
