strawberry runners

Can I sting the strawberry runners coming off my plants up against A fence and them still produce strawberries or do they need to be planted

You can likely do this and get some Strawberries. Strawberries can be grown in hanging baskets and containers and the runners bear fruit in that manner.

It certainly sounds like a fun garden project to try!
