Is mid July to late to spray. Most of the leaves are half covered already. I tried earlier in early June with no results. Also, what should I do this fall when I cut them back. Thanks
You can treat the plants every 10 to 14 days through the summer months.

My peonies have multiplied hugely and came up this summer for the second year running. I am leaving them in situ, but don't know whether I should cut off all the foliage.
My peonies have had a white coating on the leaves recently and now the leaves are beginning to turn brow at the edges. What should I spray them with to get rid of this? Or is it too early to cut them back? They bloomed profusely in the spring and I don't want to prevent them from blooming next spring.
Your peonies have powdery mildew. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/peony/powdery-mildew-peonies.htm
My peony has only produced 2 flowers in the last 2 years whereas it always had abundance of blossoms. Plant is about 15 years old.
There could be several reasons why it won't set bloom. They need as much light as you can give them, and an occasional feeding. Here is a link for more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/peony/why-your-peony-buds-but-never-flowers.htm
I live in the most nothern coast of the Pacific Northwest aand I am wondering if I should cut back my peony plants and if so how much to leave when cut back. Thank You
Peonies send up new shoots from the ground, not from last year's growth. If the leaves now longer look good, go ahead and cut it down. I leave one or two inches of stem to mark where the plant is located. If the stems have botrytis spots, remove all infected parts. Clean the area well so disease doesn't overwinter in plant debris.
I have two peonies which were planted in a flowerbed years ago. They are in the same bed as irises. Now the irises have overtaken the peonies and they are suffering. I would like to put the peonies in large containers. I am elderly and can no longer work the flowerbeds. When should I make this move?
I do believe this is the best move. It is very possible to move, and even divide them. Here is an article that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/peony/dividing-peony-plants.htm
