My small indoor Orchid has several new shoots on it that don't open up. What causes this and what can I do about it? It looks strange and won't bloom.
I would recommend increasing humidity around the plant. Placing it on a pebble tray filled with water will help to increase humidity.
I have bought orchids for indoor growing and the flowers have fallen off, but the leaves are still green and living. What can I do to make the orchids flower again?

What does a bloom starting to form on my orchid look like? It finished blooming 2 months ago and now has a curved shoot about 6 inches with one tiny leaf the size of an almond, and then a purple lumpy swelling about 2 inches up from the leaf.
Sounds like your orchid has produced a Keiki. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/orchids/orchid-keiki-care.htm
My orchid is growing more leafs and blooming, it's very healthy. What is happening though, is on one of the tendril like parts of the orchid that grows out of the base, this tendril has buds on it! Part of the tendril is getting thin and I'm afraid it may wither and fall off. Should I cut off this tendril and try to plant it? Will this tendril grow new shoots and become a new orchid? I think it will. . . . I love plants and have many different varieties, indoor and outdoor. They are my therapy and happy place to go to. I have them every where in my home.

My orchid's branch is dry. What can I do to make it come to life again?
This article will help determine if your plant is alive or not: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/how-to-tell-if-a-plant-is-dead-and-how-to-recover-an-almost-dead-plant.htm
I'm not sure what your question refers to. If you mean the branch that bears the flowers, and that all the flowers have died, this is natural - flowers on plants always die after awhile. Just give the plant enough light and water it correctly, and it will flower again in about a year. If you mean the leaves are all dried, that means the plant is dead. In either case, get some information on orchid care and keep trying. You can get info at http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/indoor/indoor-orchid-care.htm
I have reed orchids that were given to me 6 months ago and I know I must bring them in. Now I cannot turn the heat on because of personal reasons, so how do I keep my orchids from dying? What if I cut a milk gallon botton and put it over the orchid, will this help? I can't beleive I'm the only one with this problem. ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU
Since you live in zone 9, they should be hardy where you are and would not need to come in for the winter. If you have concerns that there may be a frost that would damage them, then the temperature in your home, even without extra heat, should be fine for them to survive in.
