Q.help with my indoor orchid

Zone Toronto Canada | rrrose added on September 1, 2012 | Answered

My orchid is growing more leafs and blooming, it’s very healthy. What is happening though, is on one of the tendril like parts of the orchid that grows out of the base, this tendril has buds on it! Part of the tendril is getting thin and I’m afraid it may wither and fall off.  Should I cut off this tendril and try to plant it? Will this tendril grow new shoots and become a new orchid? I think it will. . . . I love plants and have many different varieties, indoor and outdoor. They are my therapy and happy place to go to. I have them every where in my home.
