My phal has been blooming over and over for several months. I was away for a few days, coming home to find that all the blooms on the floor. The very tip of the stem is a brown color, looking dry. I watered before leaving and it is my regular routine. I also have many air roots that I was planning to repot after flowering stopped. As per instructions, soaking roots in water to soften then ushering an orchid mix. Is my phal dying?
I don't think the plant is dying. It just sounds like typical bloom loss after a long period of being in bloom. Usually the spent blooms drop one at a time, but obviously on some occasions, they drop at the same time. I wouldn't cut the bloom spike immediately. Sometimes, the primary spike will send up secondary and tertiary spikes, then Kiki's could also develop on the spike. You can cut the spike at the point where it is dead and dry. After you are positive the spike is no longer viable, it's time to repot the orchid.
They eat my orchid plants.

Need to identify a type of orchid and its care. I have an orchid that I need to find out what it is and how to care for it. How can I send a picture to you?
Having problem getting my orchids to bloom properly. Had for 4 years, first 2 bloomed fine. Last year and now this year blooms are yellow and die in little to no time. Some have never flowered at all but have lots of tendrils. What am I doing wrong?
Getting orchids to bloom can sometimes be tricky. In addition to the following article, you may want to try adding a phosphorus rich fertilizer, or bone meal, to the soil to help encourage blooms. Here is more info: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/orchids/make-orchid-bloom.htm

My orchid (Moth) is dying. I was thinking that the air is too dry, so I kept spraying the leaves; however, it did not help. All the inside roots died, and now I have only a few outside roots and few leaves that look healthy. Will I be able to recover the plant? What do I do?
Without suitable growing conditions, these plants have a difficult time surviving. You may want to repot your orchid and use the following care information to improve its current growing conditions: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/orchids/phalaenopsis-orchid-care.htm, https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/orchids/repotting-orchid-plants.htm
I have two 65-watt spot grow lights with round light reflectors. Should the lights be placed 3 to 5 ft. high or closer to my plants? My plants are mixed plants from orchid, fruit fig, to tulips and wisteria (in attempt to train as bonsai). I have them set to similar heights. Thank you, any suggestions will be appreciated.
Most lights can be safely used within 12-18 inches from plants, especially those with lower wattage.
