I have three plants, one with green leaves and two with green leaves with red tips. Is this male and female and, secondly, one of the red tip plants flowered this year. Is this normal? If so, do I cut the flower stems off to enable further growth? The plants are five years old and are cuttings from an original plant.
A Jade Plant may bloom in spring with a white to pink flower cluster.
You can dead head the flower stem when it is done blooming.
The red tips on the stems is a natural color pattern on the Jade Plant.
There are color and leave variations to this plant.

The plant used to be excellent shape and one day upon reading that used coffee powder is a good natural fertilizer, I put in some. That used coffee powder started to grow fungus and my problems started since. The Money plant started to not do well and I started having this white stuff on the plant. Sections of the plant started dying while other sections sprouted and grew. I have been clearing dead leaves and some sections of the stem dies, while the other sections along the same stem is alive and growing new leaves. It's all so confusing.
This appears to be a Scale infestation.
It can take a bit of work to rid your plant of this insect, but here is a link with several suggestions.
Neem Oil is a good treatment, as it is safe for people and pets.

My son bought me a money tree about a week ago. I read about how to water it. He just left and I noticed the soil is very wet. Will that permanently damage it? I live in southern Florida. Can I put it in the partial shade outside, or will it do better in the house? Either is fine with me. Thank you. Alice
Your new plant needs a full sun to partial sun location.
Make sure the pot has adequate drainage holes for the excess water to drain from the soil.
As long as the roots do not sit in soggy soil and the soil drains and dries, the plant should be just fine.

My money plant is dying. It has a new leaf here and there. Can I plant this for a new plant? Please, I have no knowledge of care and have kept the plant in the garage.

I have a large braided Money Tree or Pachira. The leaves are getting this odd yellowing and falling off. The plant is indoors and has been recently transplanted into a pot that is possibly too large. The humidity level is low and the plant has good air circulation, actually the a/c causes the leaves to move a bit when it comes on. I've had this tree for many years and hope you can help! What is the cause and what should I do about it?
I think the money tree's environment is the cause. A money tree actually requires above room room humidity. Air conditioning would remove moisture from the air. I would recommend removing your plant from the draft of the air conditioner as well - it may be making your plant too cold.

When is best time to plant seeds?
This plant can be planted at any time indoors. See this article:

If you live in a warm region, you can plant the seed outdoors in spring. Or, you can grow the seedling indoors, then transplant outside.
https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/money-plant/growing-money-plants.htm Last year I found a bunch of Silver Dollar growing wild. In the Fall I took the Seed pods and brought them home. At that time I took the seeds (a lot of seeds) and roughed up the ground and put them in. It;s the end of May and I thought I'd see hints of them coming up. We are in a Zone 4 area so we have not had too many 60+ degree days. Wondering if these 'grow anywhere ' plants have thumbed their nose to me or have they just not shown themselves yet? Thanks Tony H
STATEMENT I put the seeds in the ground last Fall. I doubt germination in December
