Q.yellowing leaves on money tree

Anonymous added on May 16, 2016 | Answered

I have a large braided Money Tree or Pachira. The leaves are getting this odd yellowing and falling off. The plant is indoors and has been recently transplanted into a pot that is possibly too large. The humidity level is low and the plant has good air circulation, actually the a/c causes the leaves to move a bit when it comes on. I’ve had this tree for many years and hope you can help! What is the cause and what should I do about it?

I think the money tree's environment is the cause. A money tree actually requires above room room humidity. Air conditioning would remove moisture from the air. I would recommend removing your plant from the draft of the air conditioner as well - it may be making your plant too cold.
