I have several lettuce plants and they are on most of them. Some specs larger than others. Could not find any caterpillars. Also no leaf damage.
If it wipes off, it could be some sort of insect poop. If not, I would be more inclined to say that it is an infection.

The center/rib part is browning and holey. What is the problem that is causing this?
This can be a soil pH issue, but it resembles overwatering damage, more. Saturated soils can prevent plants from completing important cycles. Treating with fungicides would be ineffective, so you may want to solarize the soil in between crops.

5 days but they have no support. If I plant them deeper, they take forever to germinate or not. What do I need to do to get nice strong seedlings?
They likely aren't getting enough light. You may want to invest in fluorescent tubes or LED grow lights to hang a few inches above the seedlings.

The lettuce was grown under low tunnels but we have been having warm days here in Southern Pennsylvania so I uncovered it. Is there anyway I can save it? The lettuce is beautiful, about 6-7" tall. Help!!
Yes, go ahead and cover it before the sun really does it in! However, if it completely froze, there isn't much help. If the roots didn't freeze, you can cut off the frozen lettuce and new leaves should grow. Lettuce usually will tolerate a light frost, so if it wasn't prolonged, your lettuce should be fine. Just trim off any damage.

It is mini-romaine. Started indoors, moved to my new greenhouse in early May. I water the container every other day.
