Q.My Lettuce Has Been Frozen By A Frost Last Night. Should I Cover It Again Before The Sun Hits It. The Weather Will Be O

The lettuce was grown under low tunnels but we have been having warm days here in Southern Pennsylvania so I uncovered it. Is there anyway I can save it? The lettuce is beautiful, about 6-7″ tall. Help!!

Yes, go ahead and cover it before the sun really does it in! However, if it completely froze, there isn't much help. If the roots didn't freeze, you can cut off the frozen lettuce and new leaves should grow. Lettuce usually will tolerate a light frost, so if it wasn't prolonged, your lettuce should be fine. Just trim off any damage.
