I have a Japanese maple planted in a pot. Bought it about 2 months ago and planted in the pot. I have this sitting beside my patio, it gets mostly afternoon sun, on west side of house. It started doing the leaves turning brown, I tried both water more and water less and it still is not doing well. It is still shooting new growth out. I’m at a loss see picture, thanks!
There is no photo but it likely is getting too much strong sun. Can you set it on the east side? Or provide some shade for the afternoon sun?

It is in a large pot
Japanese maples are prone to leaf scorch, which is caused by environmental stresses like hot sun, frost, drying winds, and drought. Follow these tips for caring for your tree:

ent. Are these dwarf weeping maple babies? Or what are they?
They will, likely, look like one of the parents of your original tree. That tree was, probably, cloned and grafted. Unfortunately, the seedlings from that tree will not resemble your original. There is a possibility that some of them may take some of the traits, but it is not likely that they will resemble the parent, exactly.
If you would like to graft some branches of your original to some of your seedlings, then this will result in exact copies of your original:

My Japanese Maple has bark borers that are killing it. How do I propagate from healthy cuttings?
This will depend on the type of cuttings and grafts you intend to complete, as well as specific conditions at this time. What I can do is point you towards some articles that will help you with these subjects:

This year is greatly increased compared to prior years and 4 years ago neighbor Removed his bamboo adjacent to our fence near the tree. In the removal, some of my roots were cut
The twiggy growth can be removed if you can reach it. It looks like water sprouts, probably initiated by the root damage stress. Give your tree the best possible care.

A friend gave me a very small sapling, only a couple of inches high. I planted it in my front yard, which has full southern sun. I keep thinking I need to feed it but then I forget. I very much want to take care of it. With it being over 10 years old, I am not sure where to start, in feeding, pruning, any of it. I have included a pic of it. Can you offer any advice on its care?
One thing you can do right away is remove the grass under the tree out to the canopy drip line, then fill it with two to three inches of mulch. I can see it has mower or weed eater damage (or else an animal is snacking on the bark).
I am attaching a link to all of our Japanese maple articles which will help with care and pruning.

We have a beautiful Japanese Maple that I’d like to try to propagate. I collected three types of seeds from underneath it, and I’m wondering if you can tell me which likely came from it: Top Row: I think this is the most likely. Middle Row: Seems to be some type of maple, but maybe not this one. Could the top 2 rows come from the same tree? Bottom Row: Maybe not even seeds, or maple seeds, but they were there too. I’d appreciate anything you can tell me, including any info about how best to propagate. It would probably be simpler to go to a nursery, but I’m kind of looking forward to the challenge! Thank you!
Unfortunately, the photos of the seeds, themselves, did not come through. I will be unable to identify them.
Still, the seeds from any tree will not be the same as the parent. It may not even look similar.
What I can say is that Japanese maple seeds are typically rounder, larger, and have wings in a V shape, while standard maple seeds are more elongated with wings set at a wider angle, resembling a helicopter seed.
