Could you advise a no-spray pest control? I have some indoor plants that are bushy and are very hard to spray under the leaves. I tried but in 2-3 weeks the bugs come back, as not all leaves have been sprayed. Is there anything I can use to water the plant with thta will kill these bugs? Thank you :)
Try neem oil. It is a systemic pest killer, so it gets into the plant and kills any bugs that feed on the plant. It is helpful to spray some on the leaves, but you don't need to get it everywhere like with other pesticides. It should also work if you put it in the water that you give the plant.
What kind of plant spray can I use when I bring my houseplants inside after spending summer outside?
What is the best systemic insecticide for scale, mites and ok for cycads, ponytail palms and begonias? We have an indoor "oasis" at my office. Scale is a large scale problem. I don't want to harm or kill off these 30 year old plants. Sentimental value. Have to rid them of the scale, spider mites, tiny red bugs, ants, and powdery (mold)? I also can't spend lots of time and $ rectifying this issue. I have taken several good photos of the nuisances. I believe a couple are attached. These insects are going going to kill off these beautiful plants. There are too many, too tall, INDOOR raised, to treat each and every leaf. Most are too large to get out of any doors. PLEASE HELP! This is in Kansas City, MO. Thank you!! :)
Treat the plants with Neem Oil. Neem Oil works as both an insecticide and fungicide, it is organic and is safe for people and pets.
You may need to do multiple treatment until the infestations are under control.

Leaves of Christmas plant have scabby looking areas on leaves and stem. What to spray it with? I've had plant for 3 years. Don't believe it is over watered and it has good drainage. Not in the sun.
Neem Oil is a good treatment.

My money plant has a pest on it which is causing a honeydew stickiness on the leaves and with some cobwebbing, and now half the leaves of the plant are covered in a black sooty mold. What is the original pest and how do I go about treating it and the black soot mold? Your help would be much appreciated. Kind regards, Ida P.S. Would the plant need to repotted, as it's been in the same pot for many years?
Due to the presence of webbing you most likely have spider mites - neem oil would be a good remedy. Here is an article on spider mites for your review: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/spider-mite-treatment.htm

I have a large Diffenbachia in a large pot. The area around the pot (floor) has tiny insects each morning. There are none on the plant. They look like specks of dirt; they are so tiny. Should I spray with a plant insecticide? It almost looks like they are falling off the leaves but I can't see any on the plant. Thanks, Audrey
Yes, I would treat the plant with Neem Oil.
Neem Oil is organic and safe for people and pets.
Make sure you spray the entire plant and you can even spray the soil
surface.
The specks you are finding are likely the residue from the insects, called honeydew.

Both plants were brought in from outside recently. Now both have small spider webs and tiny black spots on the leaves. How do I get rid of the insects?
It's always a good idea to wash the leaves of plants when they are brought in from outdoors to indoors.
A treatment of Neem Oil will take care of most insects or fungus issues.
