I have 5 duranta sapphire showers plants growing in my yard. They all have what appears to be a different kind of plant growing from main trunk. The leaves are different and they dont have any flowers on the branches. In one of the pictures you can clearly see this branch growing from main trunk. Do I cut them off, and then continue to keep them trimmed. They have grow at least a foot from the main trunk.
It is definitely new growth from the same plant. Do not cut it off.

This is the third year for my Duranta. I live in Illinois and we bring it in and have it in a heated garage with grow lights through the winter and last year when we took it back out it started blooming right away. It was too big for the pot so we repotted it last fall when we took it in for the winter. This year we kept it inside longer because it was cold and it started to leaf out inside. Now it's outside and the leaves look great, but there are no buds or blooms. What can I do to encourage it to bloom again?
It is likely that the repotting disturbed the roots. This may take a year or so to see a full recovery and blooms return.

I just bought my Duranta plant and it was in a small container so I transplanted it. A few days after the transplant, I noticed that it was losing its flowers and leaves. Why? Thank you.
It looks to be very heavily overwatered. This will cause transplant shock, and leaf loss.
Planting into too large of a container too quickly will be responsible for this, usually. It is best to plant up only slightly larger than the original container each time, as too large of a container leaves too much soil with no roots through it. This soil will take much longer to dry out between watering.
Just make sure that the soil is completely dry down to about 3 inches or so between watering. If there is any moisture, at all, down to this depth then hold off on watering.

I have a sapphire Durante flowering shrub. It was taken inside in the winter, returned to the outside for the summer but it is not flowering the small purplish flowers. Can I do anything to bring it back? I Live in Connecticut.
If the plant survived the winter inside and is growing foliage nicely, it should flower. When returned outdoors did you give it a timed-release fertilizer or a water soluable monthly fertilizer? If not, try fertilizing. You can also prune the shrub to shape it up and revitalize. Also, be sure it is getting adequate water, because that can delay flowering. Here is more:

why are the leaves on my Duranta Erecta Plant yellow? It was mail order and came with yellow leaves. I thought they would turn green once planted outdoors in sun. The plant is growing very well but still has mostly yellow leaves and only some green underneath. How can I get the leaves green again? Thank you!
Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. It could be due to the lack of light during shipment, but proper care will ensure that the color returns. It may take a week or two.
