I have a Turkey Brown Fig tree and it is loaded with figs, but I have a white fly like bug on the leaves. How do I get rid of them? Can I spray them?
There are several things that you can do to get rid of whiteflies. Here are a few articles that will help:
This article will offer more information on controlling white flies: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/whitefly-control.htm

I have this tree for 4 years, and most figs dropped before developing. I feed with tomato food and water well.
According to the article below, fruit drop is more severe in container culture. Read on for tips to correct it.

What can I do to stop it from spreading out?
Select 4 to 6 branches to be your fruiting wood and prune off the rest. Each winter prune out any branches that aren't coming out from your fruiting wood. Here's how:

We planted the fig tree 3 and 1/2 years ago. This year I fertilized the tree with three fertilizer sticks 10-10-10 The tree grew very fast and produced a lot of figs. Problem: Two weeks ago, one thick branch about (1.5 inches diameter)just broke by itself and a second one thinner and higher up also broke. Today I noticed a third one broke. WHY?
It's possible your tree was over-fertilized, making the branches brittle. I'm pasting links here for two articles that may help. It's likely the tree needs some pruning.

Live in NJ and have a potted Brown Turkey Fig Tree. It has provide figs the past two years. This spring we had a surprise frost and all the leaves fell off of the tree. New leaves started but the entire tree then lost it's leaves. In the past few weeks the tree has sprouted a surprising amount of healthy leaves on the lower portion of the tree. Question: should I cut off the top part of the tree and where should I make the cut?
This can happen with unusually cool weather. Cut off any growth that is completely dead. It will be very clear what is alive and what is not.
Anything living, now, will take over.
Here is an article that will help you to care for the tree:

In the last 2 weeks the figs on my new tree have started to turn rusty. The lower leaves have also started to turn yellow and fall off. Seems to have coincided with giving it a feed of homemade comfrey tea. Nearby pepper and tomato plant have leaves turning yellow and have stopped flowering or dropping yellow fruit stems since receiving the feed at the same time.
It is very possible that the tea had been contaminated by something. I can't say what, but it looks bacterial. You can try treating with a fungicide. This article will help:

West Los Angeles. 3 year old tree, had very small crop last year that ripened properly.
If you do not fertilize the tree, regularly, then this could be the issue.
