Please see the photo attached. What is this growing from the leave. There are also new stalks growing from the bottom of the plant and directly below the old ones. do I have to do anything?
This does not appear to be anything of concern. If you would like to transplant those plants at the bottom into their own pots, that would multiply your plants. otherwise you may leave them to grow.
We do not sell plants on this web site; we are an information site.
Try doing a Google search for the plants or even check EBay and Etsy.
I got these 3 stalks of bamboo about 6 months ago from IKEA. This is my first attempt of growing bamboos. So I took off the wax kind of thingy (green) on the tip of one of the bamboo stalks. That stalk has been drying! Also the drying bamboo hast 2 good looking green sprouts (one on top and one at the bottom). Is there any way I can save the bamboo or the sprouts?
If mine, I would prune off the fading tip and leave the green tip and the lower one. If the stem continues to brown and dry, I would cut it back to just above the lower green lateral sprout.
Or the more radical option is, you can prune it down to the lower sprout now.

It is hitting the ceiling, and needs trimming but don't know how
You can shape the tops down, but that leaves a stubby, flat-topped look.
I prefer to achieve reduction of height and thinning at the same time, by pruning out the tallest canes all the way to the base, leaving the shorter ones.

I have just cut down a bamboo tree that was growing all down the side garden it was about 12/14 ft it's now cut down to the soil what can I do to get rid of it please
Bamboo grasses are extremely difficult to control. You will have to manually dig them out by hand or machine, and then apply boiling water to as much of the area as possible. Even then you will still be pulling them up every time you see new growth
I have been using Roundup but this has not helped
Bamboo is extremely difficult to kill off and it will be a long process to do so.

Hi I need a bamboo that will grow to a four meters I would rather it wasn't alot higher for neighbours' point of view, but it does need to be four. It sounds a bit specific but I have a neighbour whose land is higher than mine, so they can look straight over and into my garden. Any info on a certain type would be good. Many Thanks M.
All bamboo, with the exception of some of the dwarf varieties will grow to that height, and far exceed that. You will be safest to make sure that what you choose is not a dwarf, but that is all that you would have to make sure of.
