Q.What bamboo grows to around four meters?

Zone Gloucestershire | Missesmook added on May 20, 2019 | Answered

Hi I need a bamboo that will grow to a four meters I would rather it wasn’t alot higher for neighbours’ point of view, but it does need to be four. It sounds a bit specific but I have a neighbour whose land is higher than mine, so they can look straight over and into my garden. Any info on a certain type would be good. Many Thanks M.

All bamboo, with the exception of some of the dwarf varieties will grow to that height, and far exceed that. You will be safest to make sure that what you choose is not a dwarf, but that is all that you would have to make sure of.
