I grow my amaryllis bulbs indoors, usually I remove the soil once dried then store in a dark area with the temperature at 50 degrees. I am wondering if the bulb can remain in the pot? They plants have not been watered for over a month, the leaves are fading in colour from emerald to very pale green so I am wondering if I can cut the leaves to about 1 1/2 inches above the top of the bulb

When you cut a baby amaryllis away from the mother does it need to have some roots to survive when replanted?
It is best to gather roots with the new split, but as long as the bottom is not damaged it can grow roots just fine. Here is an article for more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/amaryllis-hippeastrum/amaryllis-bulbs-propagation.htm
I have several amaryllis plants that came from one original plant. I bought it for my husband who has since passed away and I don't know how to take care of them. The long leaves are about 2 1/2 ft. long but there are no stems for future flowers. They seem healthy otherwise but I haven't seen flowers for almost a year and a half. What should I do? I would send a photo but don't know how. I could send a photo from my ipad if I knew your email address.
To flower properly, they will need some dormancy period. This article will give you more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/amaryllis-hippeastrum/amaryllis-bulb-storage.htm
I've had a Butterfly Amaryllis bulb since 2013 and I have never seen a flower on it! The bulb did multiply once, leaving me with 2 attached bulbs (I plan to divide them this winter). I live in north Florida and have been bringing the pot in during those few days we do get below freezing. Other than that the pot is in a bright spot on my porch where it gets indirect, bright light. The leaves have never dropped off or faded away, so I realize it hasn't had a dormant period. What should I do?

hey were done bloomed I cut off the foliage and in dug it and put it in a paper bag until October 30th and I planted it again and few days later leafs started coming up but since then all I have are leafs and no stems for flowers yet . Is it normal or is something wrong
I think you cut back the foliage too soon. You should wait until it starts to yellow. Blooming takes a lot out of a bulb and having that time with intact leaves after flowering helps to rebuild the bulb. So it may just be too depleted to bloom right now. Whether it will bloom in a month or more is hard to predict. Hi, My Amaryllis has beautiful healthy LONG green leaves but has not bloomed. Should I cut the leaves off and then put the pot in a dark place? Thank you!!
This can happen if the plant does not get a dormancy each year. They require dormancy to properly flower the next season. First you should expose them to cool tempuratures, and less light than normal. This will force them into dormancy. This link will guide you through the process of bringing them into a dormant state so that you may have flowers next year: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/amaryllis-hippeastrum/amaryllis-bulb-storage.htm
right when my plant was growing a bloom I accidently broke it and so far it has never grown another bloom but the leaves grows beautifully but no bloom. will it ever bloom again?
It will but you will, likely, have to wait until after the next dormancy. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/amaryllis-hippeastrum/amaryllis-bulb-storage.htm
