Large areas of dried out, sparse grass seemingly not having enough water but also brown rough patches where the grass is thick and green. Fertilized with Scotts Turrfbuilder, Miloganite and a bi-monthly treatment by 'Zoysia Green' (fungus and moth). Watered 20 minutes per station, starting at 12 am and finishing at 5 am (15 stations). Grass cut by contractor; could this be disease brought in from other lawns and other species of grass on 'dirty blades'? We live inland in central Florida, hot and humid at the moment.

I had a beautiful zoysia lawn until this spring. I saw a very small section last year that turned brown, figuring that it would come back this year, but instead, a very large section, about 15 feet by 20 feet, never turned green and looks dead. There are sections of the zoysia that look fine, but a huge area is brown and looks dead. What can I do? I thought I would seriously rake it, hoping that there might be too much thatch, but I do not think that is the problem. Please advise.

What is a good fungicide for zoysia grass?

I have Myers zoysia and in the front yard. The grass turned a lime green, the blades curled in on the edges, and now it seems to be turning brown. It seems to be spreading and in other areas, the blades are starting to curl inward. I have put grub control down, so I don't think that is it. I'm pretty familiar with lawns but have never seen anything like this before. Please help before I lose my beautiful zoysia lawn.
