My outdoor yucca has dark brown or black spots on the leaves and the lower leaves turn dark brown and hang low. What is wrong and the fix please?
It's possible that the plant suffered from some cold damage and removing the damaged growth is a good idea. These are fairly tough plants, however, so with some TLC, it should recover. Another possibility could be a fungus. Treat the plant with fungicide. I like to use neem oil myself as it is safe for people and pets and also will address any pest issues the plant may have. Here is more information on it:

I have a yucca in the garden (8 feet tall). It has in the last two weeks formed very thick stems out of the top, with loads of spray-like seed heads. Is it coming into flower or going to seed?
Yes, the plant is getting ready for flowering, which will either be white or cream colored. Once it's finished, it will begin forming brown seed pods, which you can collect and plant or simply remove the faded flowering stalk and discard.
I have a huge yucca plant that has flowered out and I want to remove it since it is running into our house. To replant, do I bury the seeds in the spring or in the fall? Is it best to soak them in water before planting and how far down do I put them?
Either time is fine. You should start it in a container though. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/propagation-of-yucca-plant.htm
I've seen some yucca trees get to a huge size and I've planted one very close to the house. I was wondering, do they have a large root system? Will it go looking for pipes to wrap its roots around - or will it be ok?
In terms of foundation, you are fine. Their roots tend to be shallow. As far as pipes, as long as it gets enough water (which it typically needs little of) it should not go after the pipes.
I have a yucca type plant in my garden and it has a growth from the middle (it's only recently arrived). It looks totally different to the rest of the plant, almost flower like. Is this normal for this type of plant? I'm not a gardener, as you probably can tell. . .
I have re-planted my yucca and the leaves have turned yellow and looks like it is dying.
Sounds like it may be suffering a little transplant shock. This article should help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/learn-how-to-avoid-and-repair-transplant-shock-in-plants.htm
What soil type do I use for re-potting my outdoor yucca plant?
They prefer well-draining potting soil. This article will help with repotting: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/separating-and-repotting-yucca-offshoot-pups.htm
