How much do you water outside Yuccas?
Water deeply (about an inch or two ) once or twice a month or as needed during very dry conditions.
I have a narrow leaf yucca that bloomed last month. My question is about the very tall stem that produced the blooms. Do I prune the tall stem back now, or if not, when should it be done? I live in east Texas.

I am pretty new to yucca growing, having only planted a few. I have two very large plants in my yard and would like to take cuttings off of them to establish somewhere else in my yard. Where do I get the cutting off of the plant, and can it just be the leaf? My yucca does not have the trunk part that comes out of the ground; it is only the long spine -like leaves.

I have a Yucca I think is either Yucca treculeana or Yucca filifera. It was about 8 feet high and started leaning. Eventually leaned to horizontal (95 degree) bend. At the top it has started four forks. I cut it at bend, transported it, and cut it a foot away from the damaged part in order to transplant. I dusted the cut part with root hormone and put it in water and a week later in water with soil. I left it in the sun. No roots have started and it does not look good. How can I save it? Should it have been dried for a week before replanting? Is shade better? What kind of medium should I have put it in? Help! I don't want to lose it.
This article has directions on how to root the cutting:

I would check the cut and make sure that there is not any rot that has set into the cut (it will be soft). If it has rot, cut off the rotted part and start again.
The leaves on my yucca are going a light green to yellow and the tips are going brown.

I have a yucca tree that has an arm growing out the side. This arm has several heads on it and is about to touch the ground. The flowers are so tall that they have fallen over. Can I cut this arm off and plant it to start another plant? I need to do something with it but don't know what.

How to kill yucca and remaining roots in garden.
To kill it, cut it down as close to the ground as possible and then paint the fresh cuts with concentrated Round-up. Keep an eye on it and if you see any shoots, you can repeat this process. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/removing-yucca.htm
