Dear Garden Know How, I am having difficulty finding a source that can identify a severely invasive lawn weed. It resembles Annual Bluegrass, but that is not what it is. When I search online with the key words, "invasive lawn weed that resembles annual bluegrass and has many seed clusters one to a stem and the stems and thin leaves lay flat against ground," the closest weed I have found is Dallisgrass. Our weed has a different pattern and shape for the leaves and seeds than Dallisgrass. It seems as pesky as Dallisgrass sounds. I call ours "Devil Weed." Can you help us identify our weed? I can work on sending photos, if needed. Thank you for your attention.
I wonder if it is a sedge, like yellow nut sedge. Here is more:

in a dark area of the garden stem just above the soil about 20cm diameter about 1m high. Growing below a Bush.
This doesn't look like giant hogweed, the noxious weed that is dangerous to humans. Is that what you had last year? It has different leaf shapes depending on what stage of development it is in, but this doesn't look like any shown on the extension information sheets, which I am including links to. It's best to have an authority positively ID the weed if hogweed is suspected and recommend the best chemical treatment. Multiple applications of an herbicide such as riclopyr and glyphosate are usually needed. There is a common hogweed, too, and your plant doesn't look like it either. It lacks the lobed leaves of both giant and common hogweed.

I have this large-leaved plant in my garden which I don't remember planting (but who knows....). It has a spiky ridge at the reverse of the leaf as in the accompanying photo. Any idea what it is?? Many thanks,
It looks like a healthy weed, possibly curly dock.
