Q.Identify A Difficult Weed
Dear Garden Know How, I am having difficulty finding a source that can identify a severely invasive lawn weed. It resembles Annual Bluegrass, but that is not what it is. When I search online with the key words, “invasive lawn weed that resembles annual bluegrass and has many seed clusters one to a stem and the stems and thin leaves lay flat against ground,” the closest weed I have found is Dallisgrass. Our weed has a different pattern and shape for the leaves and seeds than Dallisgrass. It seems as pesky as Dallisgrass sounds. I call ours “Devil Weed.” Can you help us identify our weed?
