Hello, I'm trying to grow some dwarf teddy bear sunflowers inside and right now I've got a couple pots available. I've got 2 15 inch pots that are 6 or 7 inches tall, and 2 20 inch pots that are probably two ft tall. Will the small pots work? Should i put pebbles in the bottom for drainage too? Would more than 4 flowers be too many? Thanks.
Sunflowers have deep roots so I suggest the 2 feet tall pots. You need well draining soil but the pebbles won't help. It is now known that water has a hard time moving between two different substrates.
Four flowers is fine. If growing from seed, start with a few more in case some don't make it. Then thin to four.
help them or have they now died? Pictures below. I transplanted some sunflower seedlings yesterday into another pot due to spacing, they are now not looking good, what can I do to help them or have they now died? Pictures below.
They just look transplant-shocked, but perhaps by now they've perked up. Here are a couple articles with info:

I want smaller plants around it to be able to get sunlight. Will it make a difference to cut off the leaves.
The leaves are needed for photosynthesis. That is how food is made within the plant. You could take off one or two but be sure to leave some for this process.

How to prevent the leaves being eaten?
That is most likely Grasshoppers! At least that is what gets after mine! An insecticide spray usually gets after them and controls things. I use a hose end sprayer with insecticide in it. Here is a link to a great information article for you as well: https://extension.colostate.edu/topic-areas/insects/grasshopper-control-in-gardens-small-acreages-5-536/
I live in Alberta and the weather is nice. My first set of teddy bears has already bloomed and is almost ready to harvest. Would I be able to start a second batch from those seeds. Normally I only sow them once a year. I look forward to your reply. Thanks.
There is no harm in trying! Here is an article that will help you to start a second crop:

I planted sunflower seeds in feb/mar. The leaves have some yellow/brown spots, i can see some pets growing under. What are there, and how can i remove them? I thought it was fungi and i sprayed a homemade fungicide with baking soda. That did not work, some leaves became black, probably the mix had too much baking soda. Thanks.
If you can see the pest on the underside of the leaves, it is likely aphids. Neem oil will work. You also can wash them off with water.

If you cant how much space can be between.
You need to thin them to 1 foot apart when they are about 2 inches tall. You can plant other things nearby but allow the sunflowers plenty of room to grow. Planting too close together is a recipe for fungal disease.
