Can I Cut The Leaves Off My Sunflower Plant.

I want smaller plants around it to be able to get sunlight. Will it make a difference to cut off the leaves.

The leaves are needed for photosynthesis. That is how food is made within the plant. You could take off one or two but be sure to leave some for this process.
