What is the common name for a large cactus type plant, like Iron plant, but has thick spear shape, grey green leaves and has a tall (like a telephone pole) stem with small arms at the top with mounds of buds. It is about 2 yards wide at base and maybe 20 feet tall. I saw this plant in San Antonio, Texas
Sorry, your description doesn't bring anything to mind. You can send us a picture by using the following link: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ask-a-question/
Or you can start looking through reference pictures such as http://www.texascactuscouncil.net/picturesofcacti.php
I thought I was planting cauliflower, but I now have a big white ball shaped root with leaves that look like broccoli or cauliflower leaves sprouting out of it. The leaves aren't bowling around the root, or the unknown circle object. They are sticking straight up around it. It does not look like any turnip or rutabaga.
Could you send us a picture? We can be of more help if we're able to see the plant.
We have sprouts in our flower garden that resemble asparagus. What might it be?
It is hard to say with out seeing the sprouts. Do you have a picture? This would help us to identify the plant more easily. Also, you may want to wait until it grows a bit more to make its identification easier as well.
I'm trying to find out what the weed is called that has small thorns on it and spreads very fast in a yard. I would also like to know how to get rid of it. We call them stickers because they get in your feet and hurt really bad and stick in the bottom of shoes.
Since there are a few that it could be (sting nettle, burr medic, spurweed, etc.), could you send in a picture of the plant? This will help us to better identify it for you and help advise on its proper control.
I need to send you a picture...Are you on Facebook? We have a sapling from a tree that we don't know its definite variety. Looks like cross between cedar/pine or something else! It's not doing so well! We want it to grow! Can you help? Thanks!
Yes, we are on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/gardeningknowhow). You may also send your picture to this email (questions@gardeningknowhow.com) and we can help identify this tree for you.
What is the name of this plant?
I'm afraid we need a little more information, like the shape of the leaves and the shape of the plant. Or you could send a picture. You can use the email portion of our site: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ask-a-question/
I have pictures of a bush that I need to identify. Can you tell me where I can send the pictures?
