Unknown Plant

Question

I thought I was planting cauliflower, but I now have a big white ball shaped root with leaves that look like broccoli or cauliflower leaves sprouting out of it. The leaves aren’t bowling around the root, or the unknown circle object. They are sticking straight up around it. It does not look like any turnip or rutabaga.
