It has bumpy leaves, very thick stems and grows small flowers in a cluster on a stem.
There are so many varieties of begonia that I do think it is a begonia. You might try taking a cutting to a local nursery or the extension office for a more precise determination.

Does anyone know what this plant is? It was in some soil I acquired for my garden.
Purchased topsoil is normally full of weed seeds. This looks like a type of sedum. When it blooms you'll be able to know what kind. If you want to eradicate it, use an herbicide that is safe for lawns.
My son gave me this 3 years ago and it’s gotten so big now. It sits in a room with lots of sun. I don’t do anything special other than a weekly watering. The pot it’s in doesn’t drain. Should I place in a different planter?
It looks like a type of Kalanchoe, possibly 'Blossfeldiana,' or flaming Katy. Yours is rather tall, so you can pinch it back to keep it shorter and bushier.
They are succulents, so I would put it in a pot with drainage holes. Here is more information on their care:

them. Exotic tag number is CFE HB-239. It is an olive tree shaped leaf that is slightly varigated (green spear shaped) that has slightly darker green veins in it. It grows and has nodules like a pothos, I don't know how to upload images.

was currently on a patio in a flower pot
The closest I can come to without closer leaf photos is a yellow buckeye. Alternately, it could be a dead tree with a native vine growing on it.
I brought this plant and they said it's an indoor plant just wanted to know the name of it
The closest I can find is a type of aralia, possibly a ming aralia, however your leaf is a little fuller. But there are many, many varieties of aralia.

It grows every year. Very pretty about 12" high and looks a bit like 'grannies bonnet' but petals curl back.
It looks a lot like Erythronium ‘Pagoda.’
