Q.What type of plant is this? It looks like a begonia but I do not think it is.

It has bumpy leaves, very thick stems and grows small flowers in a cluster on a stem.

There are so many varieties of begonia that I do think it is a begonia. You might try taking a cutting to a local nursery or the extension office for a more precise determination.
