How many years before tree bears fruit?
A persimmon tree usually bears fruit 3-4 years after it's planted in its permanent location. If yours is older than this and not producing, see this article:

I have a persimmon tree i planted 3 years.last spring fewbut this spring there were alot of fruit buds. But two days back i noticed most of these fallen on ground.I want to know why ? what is the reason.
This could have happened for a few reasons, bud blight, lack of water, frost damage, a nutrient deficiency. These articles may help:

My persimmon tree is in it second year planting and I had several fruit buds show up but most have fallen off as if they were too heavy. Is this normal?

I have lost 3 Fuju persimmons over 4-5 years due ti what appears to be something like fire blight in pears. The tips turn black and eventually this propagates down the stems to the trunk and the tree dies. The disease is similar to vermilion wilt in tomatoes. Is this something in the soil in my yard that I can not control and thus can not grow domesticated/Japanese persimmons in my yard? Thanks
Diseases that effect Persimmon Trees include, Persimmon Wilt, Verticillum Wilt, rot diseases, Twig Blight and Leaf spot.
Your trees may likely be dying from Persimmon Wilt.

I hope you can tell me what’s wrong with my persimmon tree. I live in northern North Carolina and have had this tree for about 7 years. Last year there was no fruit probably because we had 2 overnight freezes in the spring right after the tree gave leaves. All the leaves fell off and then new leaves sprouted and the tree looked fine with some over large leaves but no fruit. This year everything appeared fine but little by little the leaves are all falling off. One side o the tree is completely bare of leaves. Is there anything I can do to bring back life or is the tree slowly dying?
There can be several issues with a Persimmon.
This link will help you pinpoint the issue.
Both my persimmons and citrus ( calamondin) trees died during the cold freeze last December. Now I noticed there are leaves and sprouts growing from below the graft sites . Will they still bear fruits later ? Thank you for your response.
That is frustrating to lose trees over the winter months, or really any time we lose our trees that we labor over!
There is never any guarantee if or when you would have any fruit from the root stock.
If they do, it may not be a flavorful fruit or even the same type of fruit, as they use root stock that is hardy and not generally a fruit that is known for flavor.
Check with your local County Extension Office for a list of trees that are known to do well in your particular region.

I try to remind myself that a loss in the garden makes for new opportunities.
