We had a bad thunderstorm and got a lot of rain. I live in Marion, South Carolina and has been very hot and humid. My hot pepper plants are now wilted and look bad. This happened about 6 days ago. What can I do
Heavy rain along with poorly draining soil can cause root rot. If the damage is too much for the plant, it may not be able to be saved.
problem. Can you give me some advice. I have had in pepper plants in past years and never had any problems.
Can you include a photo? This will help me to see what is going on. Is this on the bottom of the fruit, or top?
What is causing these yellow spots on my pepper plants? And how can I treat it? These are jalapeno peppers.
It looks like bacterial leaf spot. This article will tell you everything you need to know about treating it:

They are in individual pots and are very healthy.
Unfortunately, these can take awhile to ripen. You can bring them inside to a west facing window, but if the leaves start to drop too much at a time, then you will have to supplement light. I find that the household 100 watt LED will allow for plant growth. You will likely need two or three about a foot from the plant but it will keep it happy.
Ideally a horticultural grade light is best, but in a pinch, these will work just fine.
Can I preserve my pepper plants over winter in the same soil (they are in large pots)
This article will help you.

I would like to dry the hot peppers in the oven but at what temp. should it be done at and how long?
I actually prefer to dry peppers out on a counter, or flat surface, in the sun. Turn them once or twice a day to keep from rotting. If you still want to do it in the over, I would recommend the lowest setting until they are dry. Flip them on occasion. Still the best method would be to sun dry them.
Here is an article for other methods: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pepper/drying-hot-peppers.htm
Would it be overkill to also oven toast the already ground up peppers? I dried them in a dehydrator and store in "jello shot" cups. They still get a little clumpy after a while.
