Pepper Plants

Zone Marion SC | Anonymous added on August 2, 2018 | Answered

We had a bad thunderstorm and got a lot of rain. I live in Marion, South Carolina and has been very hot and humid. My hot pepper plants are now wilted and look bad. This happened about 6 days ago. What can I do

Heavy rain along with poorly draining soil can cause root rot. If the damage is too much for the plant, it may not be able to be saved.
