My peaches are clustered, 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Is it too late to thin? I have so many peaches, but small and still hard; they are beginning to get color. Possible they will be edible? Can they be thinned now with any success for edible fruit?
You can still thin. The fruit probably will not reach optimal size, pruning this late, but their flavor will be improved.
If the peach tree has brown rot and some the peaches look ok, are they fit to eat?
If the peaches look ok, they are fine. Brown rot won't hurt you but it does not make the affected peaches taste good. If the peaches are unaffected, they should taste ok.

Maybe someone will tell me how to control the spot but in the meantime the bags work great to keep the bugs off.
