Is there "a right way up" to position the peach seed in the soil?
The absolute best way is to first remove the seed from the stone. If you can manage to crack this open, then it will be much faster to germinate, and more likely to do so. Please wear gloves, as these can be somewhat toxic out of the stone.

It had two suckers so I cut them off. Next I noticed the leaves had yellow spots, then rugged edges. What is wrong with my tree.
Please include a photo, and I will be more than glad to help.
I have two peach trees, and they have flowered well with good fruit set, but as the fruit has matured several of the peaches have become shriveled and moldy.
I recommend dormant spraying with a horticulural oil and copper fungicide. And then during fruit set start preventive treatments with a biological fungicide like this:

Good soil fertility and water management will help the trees and fruit resist diseases and pests.
I have a flat peach about 3 mtr high. Some of the leaves have yellow spots over them plus there I sap oozing from the base of the tree. I have sent 2 pics of the problem. Hope you can help me.
It looks like your Peach Tree has bacterial leaf spot and cankers on the trunk.
Peach Trees can be susceptible to these issues.

When should I use insecticide spray on my peach tree? I just want to be proactive for the upcoming months and to prevent unwanted pests...
I have two articles that lay out what to spray and when.

The second article is from your state Extension Service. They have lots of info specific to your state. Note that the article on fruit spraying is in PDF format if you click the picture on the right or you can download it. I hope this helps.

I have a young peach which I found germinating in my garden last Spring ( 2017). It is outside in my garden in a plant pot and has been outside all winter. It is now February and it still retains all of its leaves, and is even beginning to sprout new leaves for this year. It looks as fresh as it did last summer. It has withstood frosts and snow. Why did it not lose its leaves ?
I don't know what the low temps have been, and each cultivar will have a different temperature tolerance. Many of them will gladly keep their leaves through the cold periods if it doesn't get well below freezing. Here is an article for more information about peach trees: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/peach/peach-tree-care.htm
I got this tree about 5 or 6 years ago. The first Winter it grew 1 to 2 feet and was covered in leaves. It didn't bloom until a 1 or so later. It blooms like crazy, but no fruit. It's in full bloom right now.
Yes, this is perfectly normal. Many Prunus species start flowering in very early Spring. Enjoy the blooms!
