Can they survive well in a container? What precautions to use? Do they survive better when planted in ground soil?
the red waxy flowers have gone pink, how to restore the brilliant red
Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I am unable to see the damage.
Make sure that soil fertility is optimal, and light is bright, but not direct. These articles will help:

The spathes on my Peace Lily have turned green. I recently purchased it and it was really pot-bound so yesterday I re-potted it and this morning it’s perked up and looks really healthy. I’ve moved it to the middle of my room so it doesn’t get as much direct light. Should I leave the green spathes alone or should I cut them off and hope new white ones will grow. Also whilst it does look healthy it has a lot of leaves and spathes, it seems to be a bit spindly. I wondered why this was and do you think, as I’ve re-potted it and moved it that this will solve the problem?
This happens for two reasons, usually.
One is that the plant is getting too much light. These are shade plants, and will prefer quite a bit of shade, at that.
The other is overfeeding. Too much nitrogen will have a similar effect as too much light... It will trigger photosynthesis in the spathes.
Here is an article that will offer some insight:

I have small black midges on my peace lily, how do I get rid of them, do not want to lose it as bought for me when my husband passed away this year. Any help please
I'm wondering if the bugs are fungus gnats, which look like tiny mosquitoes. They usually show up as a result of too moist soil. If you let the soil dry out between waterings they should disappear.

If you don't think it is fungus gnats, try spraying the leaves with Neem oil. They could be aphids.
I accidentally cut off a section of my peace lilly while pruning off the dead leaves. It is an indoor plant. Can I get it to grow roots? If so, how do I do it?
If it has a stem, this can be attempted. Typically, this is best done from division, though, where the plant has some roots, already.

I was pruning the dead leaves off my indoor peace lilly. I accidentally cut off a whole section of leaves. It has a bulb type thing at the base where I cut it off. Can I get this section to grow roots and if so how do I go about it? I have found some articles that say it it possible. But they only go into if they already have roots. This does not have any roots.
It can be done, but with this species, it will usually dampen off before it grows roots. These articles will help you to take cuttings and force roots with hormone:

s water like my other PL. What can I do to bring it back? Today I transplanted it and gave it more room. It did not seem to be crowded but I completed the transplant. It’s thin because I cut away the dead or dying branches. HELP. I really want this plant to thrive b
Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. They require some pretty specific care practices, though. This article will help you to care for them, properly:
