Q.Orchids

Anonymous added on January 4, 2014 | Answered

Having problem getting my orchids to bloom properly. Had for 4 years, first 2 bloomed fine. Last year and now this year blooms are yellow and die in little to no time. Some have never flowered at all but have lots of tendrils. What am I doing wrong?

Getting orchids to bloom can sometimes be tricky. In addition to the following article, you may want to try adding a phosphorus rich fertilizer, or bone meal, to the soil to help encourage blooms. Here is more info: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/orchids/make-orchid-bloom.htm
