My orchid gets promising buds, which then shrivel up like a dried grape & fall off. What should I do differently?
This is likely due to watering issues, either too much or too little.

When the blooms begin to either - does this mean it needs more water or less water? Thx Sarah
Wilting flowers generally mean the plant is stressed.
Too much or too little water can cause it to droop.
Temperature changes or pests and disease are also reason.

What kind of a pot should one buy to plant an indoor orchid. Is it important that the pot have drainage?
I like to recommend clay pots and they make clay pots designed for Orchids. They are wider and have additional drainage holes on the sides of the pots.
Drainage is very important. Never use a pot without drainage holes.
