YES VERY HELPFULL ,ANY OTHER THOUGHTS ON THE SUBJECT WOULD BE APRIECIATED,THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR RESPONCE
Environmental factors can indeed cause this leaf browning… examples: too much sun, too little water, too much water, windy conditions.
I POTTED MY NEW ACERS INTO LARGE POTS TEN WKS AGO THINGS HAVE GONE FINE UNTIL LAST WK WHEN I NOTICED THE LEAVES TUNRNING BROWN THEY ARE YOUNG TREES AND ARE IN A SUNNY POSITION COULD THIS BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM OR IS IT SOMETHING MORE SINISTER ,
This looks more like an issue with overly wet soils. Soil will need a chance to dry out down to about 5-8 cm, thoroughly, between waterings.
I would apply a fungicide, and make sure to measure soil moisture if you are unsure of whether it is time to water or not.

I live in Waterloo , Ontario, Canada, zone 5 my Maple tree is at least 30 years old last year Ontario had an infestations of the Gypsy moth and I am not sure if this is why our tree now has this greenish yellow bark and it comes off if you peel it. the leaves are like they are being eaten. How do we help the maple to survive Thank You
Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I do suspect that your tree has been damaged by the moths, though. They can leave behind some nasty infections. Fungicides, and preventing the attack in the future may be necessary.

I have lost many an acer in pots. I know they have thin leaves and like a little sun in the morning. I have held back from over watering but wondering looking at this picture if I am getting the watering feeding right. It’s 5 ft and always looks good in the spring but as summer approaches I see these withering leaves. Any help would be appreciated. What am I doing wrong… 🥴
Unfortunately, Verticillium may be to blame. This disease will prefer overly moist conditions.

HELLO I used cinnamon powder mixed with water into a paste to deter yellow jackets from their hole at the base of my maple tree i also had some kind of bee eating the area where a small area of the bark was missing. I also applied some cinnamon paste there. This chased off all the bees my question is will cinnamon hurt the non bark area ? I read where you can use cinnamon on roots for starting plants.. Thankyou
I don't believe it will harm the non-bark area. Here are other uses for cinnamon:

I have a newly planted Pacific Sunset Maple tree (2020) which has experienced great growth, but for the second year, it has produced no fall color. I chose this tree for its potential fall color, so I am disappointed. I understand the drought might be a facotor here in Sioux Falls, SD.
Cold weather and/or a drought can affect the fall display. These articles explain how fall color happens:
