It’s been like this since we moved in but after several days of glorious sunshine I’m still surprised to find grass is wet under foot ( it never pools just stays wet). I dug a small hole down about 15cm (see attached picture) where I seemed to hit a layer of gravel with sand on top of it. The soil under the grass is very dark and wet and feels like you could mould it like clay. Is there anything I can do to reduce how damp it is.
This could be a septic, sewer, or water leak. If this stays moist without drying out then the only solution will be to stop the source. This will probably require the help of your local authorities on the matter.
The lawn mower has mowed the new lawns first time and didn't catch the grass and mowed it when it's too wet. Now there are long and big patches on the lawns made by leftover grass after mowing. It's winter here and the lawns are not going to dry soon. How do I fix those patches? Please help.
Rake up the dead grass material and scratch up the surface of the soil. Spread grass seed mixed with sand to help spread it evenly.
You may be able to find autumn seed mixes for patching this time of year.
Water and keep traffic from the area.

Trying to get a more unified look of grass
Unfortunately, your photo did not come through.
If there are different types of grass, you will need to eliminate the grass that you don't want.
If these are discolored spots from disease, you will need to correct the disease or watering habits.

my lawn was perfectly ok but recently has turned a orangy/brown, wanted to find out how to remedy it , any help appreciated. have uploaded a photo, but it is actually more orange than the photo shows thanks
This seems to be grass rust! Control will be, mostly, environmental. Chemical means prove ineffective at treating this.

Is there any grass growing things I can get to get grass to grow on bore water I only have access to bore water as I work on a station
Test the water, first, to make sure that it does not container too much of anything from nutrients to heavy metals, and make sure that the pH is within range.
Should results show that everything is in range, then it would not be a bad idea to water with it.
