My lawn grass is dying. I have a difficult fungus in the soil that is killing my grass. The fungus was identified by Texas A & M's Plant Identification Lab to be "Take-All Root Rot." I tracked down a funguscide that can be used to treat it. The funguscide was very expensive and it didn't work. The next recommendation to treat it, is to adjust the pH of the soil so it is slightly acidic. My soil is strongly basic. What can I do or add to my soil to make it slightly acidic?

I live in the Okanagan BC. It looks like my dog has peed everywhere except the patches are not uniform and are much bigger patches.
It looks like winterkill. You can rake out the dead grass and apply a fertilizer that contains seed or just buy seed. Be sure to keep it watered till it grows.
