Q.How do fix the patches on the newly laid lawns?
The lawn mower has mowed the new lawns first time and didn’t catch the grass and mowed it when it’s too wet. Now there are long and big patches on the lawns made by leftover grass after mowing. It’s winter here and the lawns are not going to dry soon. How do I fix those patches? Please help.

Rake up the dead grass material and scratch up the surface of the soil. Spread grass seed mixed with sand to help spread it evenly.
You may be able to find autumn seed mixes for patching this time of year.
Water and keep traffic from the area.
