I have 2 Kiwi plants growing for 4 years now. I have never seen any flowers on them , they are very healthy. How will I know if I have a male or female?
I have known kiwi that didn't flower until it was 6 years old! This will just take patience. You may try fertilizing once per year with an all purpose.

It is very likely that the soil is slightly deficient in phosphorus and potassium. Adding this with a little dolomitic lime should fix the issue. If is a simple pH issue, then the dolomitic lime will also correct this. Here is an article that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/kiwi/varieties-of-kiwi-fruit.htm
My kiwi fruit died after transplanting, and in the original garden they sprouted in no time. Will these runners fruit or should I pull them out? Please help. Thank you. Cheryl
They will, in time, fruit just fine. As long as you have both a male and a female plant. They cannot be planted next to each other though. They will kill each other.

I've started some kiwi branches, both male and female, in a potting mix. The male branches leafed out first but after a few weeks the leaves are fainting and some are dying. They've been in a sunny room inside the whole time and I've kept them moist but trying not to over water them. What's going wrong? Do I need to move them outside? Not water them as much? Thanks for your help!

About 8 years ago I bough 2 male and 2 female kiwi plats. I do not remember the variety. After about 6 years we got a new puppy who ate 3 of them. I believe we have just the female left. It has small fruits but quickly drops. Last year I bought a male and female red variety. I know the older female is not a red but will the male from the red variety be able to pollinate the older green variety?
Typically, yes. Many kiwi are used to pollinate, usually to fruit the red variety, but the reverse will be true as well.
You should be able to obtain fruit from this combination.
