I’ve never noticed this before? Any ideas? It’s never produced fruit, but that’s not really the issue...It’s just a beautiful vine?
There are a few diseases that can effect your Kiwi Vine; on just this small sample of branches it may appear to be a Bleeding Canker issue.
Removing these diseased portions of the vine and disposing of is the best way to control this.
Do some further inspection of the vine. Check the leaves and the entire vine to any other clues.

If I plant a kiwi cutting, does it give a tree of the same sex as the one it was taken from?
Yes, a cutting is the same as the original plant.

Should a male kiwi plant be replaced if it hasn't produced any flowers for 6 years? I have a friend who comes and takes some of my male flowers to pollinate the female flowers of their vine. If the female plant is successfully producing flowers, why isn't the male?
There are quite a few reasons why a kiwi would fail to flower, depending on the variety. This article will give you more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/kiwi/kiwi-plant-not-flowering.htm
According to this Extension fact sheet, they are available from online and mail order nurseries. You might ask a local nursery if they can recommend a source.

Thank you for those replies, but neither of them address where the 2 varieties in question can be found. They just discuss on how to care for kiwi's in general.
We are in zone 8 have lots of birds and squirrels; Could they be the culprits?
Be sure at least one of these are male, or you may never see a crop fully mature. If there is a male present, then it could be lack of fertilization, but 3 years is still pretty young for a kiwi.

I have a 7-8 year old plant that produced limited fruit in years 3-4 but none since then. I have been pruning it and tending to it but have noticed, in the past 3 years, that the male flowers bloom about 2-3 weeks after the female flowers, so I am not getting any pollination. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks. J-G Nadeau
The male and female plants should be the same cultivar in order to bloom at the same time.
Be sure you are fertilizing properly as well as pruning at the right times. Here is more:

When you look at the plant- Where the main-stem meets each side branch, you will want to count out 3 buds. Clip the branch AFTER the 3rd bud out from the main-stem.
