Hello, my office jade plant is in trouble. The leaves keep withering and falling off and today an entire stem came off. It is indoors and winter, I water once a month per instructions. The leaves tend to get thin and wrinkled (photos attached), then fall off. Please help!
Inspect the plant for signs of pests, this could be the issue with dropping leaves.

I have a beautiful Jade plant approx. 5 yrs old and thriving. I am very careful with watering and it stands in a large sunny, east/west exposure. While I'm getting new growth, I just noticed some of the leaves have brown, raised, corky spots on the top side and not the bottom. The spots do not scrape off. What can this be from and how to treat?
Jade plants can be fussy about water. Here's an article that should help you understand what's happening: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/jade-plant/limp-jade-plant-help.htm
My neighbor has a beautiful jade vine. He has offered me some of it. I need to know what part I should take and how to get it started. Thank you,
These are very easy to start from a tip cutting. Just cut off a few inches of the tip and put it into some moist potting mix. Let it, almost, dry out before you water again, and keep doing this until you see new growth. This will signal that there is a new root system. You can then plant into your container of choice. Jade is very easy to root, and you will get to enjoy the benefits for years to come.
I have 4 growing in pots on my patio. They are thriving. One is developing tiny white flowers. Should I trim them or let the flowers remain?
There is no problem with letting them fade naturally. They will fall off after they are done blooming.
Hi I have a suggestion For new gardeners - under 'jade plant' this isn't enough into - 'An important thing to keep in mind is that you should water your jade plant in the regular way and then water it with the fertilizer water.' - It would be helpful to expand on what 'in the regular way' means. Lisa
This is the paragraph you had questions about and the last sentence explains why you should water the plant first; they water with fertilizer.
For proper jade plant care, fertilize your jade plant about once every six months. Use a balanced water soluble fertilizer. An important thing to keep in mind is that you should water your jade plant in the regular way and then water it with the fertilizer water. Never fertilize your jade plant when the soil is dry, as this will damage the roots.
My dad planted this when I was born and gave to me 5 years ago before he died. So I can’t kill it so please help. It is getting brown leaves, why and what to do. See pics. Thanks Tim
I believe this article addresses your concerns. It advises repotting the plant in sandy soil and monitoring the moisture it receives. If you can find an area that doesn't have spots, you can take a cutting and grow a new plant, just in case you lose the first one. I've included information on propagating jade plants, too.
