Why are the leaves on my Hibiscus turning yellow? I planted some and now they are turning yellow. I also bought some today and the leaves were turning yellow. Some leaves also have black spots. Don't know if it's bugs, fungus, too much water, etc.

I received three potted flowering Hyacinths this last Easter as a gift. I would like to plant them in my flower garden. My question is, how deep do I plant them and will they come up next year?

About one day after my hyacinths are in full bloom they fall over. Normal? Should I just stake them up?
It is not "normal" but it frequently happens. The only thing you can do is stake them up. It just means that the blooms were simply too full.
My hyacinths blossom reliably every year. I fertilize as recommended, but the blossoms tend to be small in diameter and not very full. How do I improve the size of them?
Hyacinth can sometimes be difficult to get to bloom from year to year. Try adding some bone meal to their soil to add phosphorous, which they need for blooming and make sure that their leaves are left on until they turn yellow as this is how they get energy to bloom for next year.
I got a plant at a baby shower, which is beautiful and already flowering. I live in Minnesota. Is it possible to put the plant in the outside in the ground? Or can I wait till the flowers die off and then plant it in the ground for next season?

I have a small plot in my yard where I want to put onion sets only. What is the best type of fertilizer to use?
Compost worked into the soil works well for onions. I would also recommend working phosphorous into the soil. That helps with root growth.
I purchased a potted Hyacinth and it has finished blooming. Can the bulbs be transplanted outdoors if I dry them out first? I have had very good luck with planting purchased bulbs outdoors but have never tried transplanting one. Most information I have read says to discard the bulbs if they are potted due to forcing them to bloom.
You can transplant them out, but they will need additional water to keep the blooms healthy for this year. If you are looking to transplant spent forced hyacinths to the garden, this article will help:
